The 27-year-old showed his predatory instincts in the 39th minute, pouncing on a rebound after Pervis Estupiñán’s cross forced a save to put Milan ahead. Four minutes later, he battled in the box before setting up Youssouf Fofana to double the lead. Pulisic struck again eight minutes into the second half, extending his strong start to a third Milan season after already scoring against Lecce.

Since joining Milan from Chelsea in July 2023, Pulisic has gradually transformed into one of Milan's most reliable attacking performers. He has contributed to 57 goals in 104 appearances for the Rossoneri, a tally that includes 28 goal contributions across all competitions, with 22 of those in the league.

Milan's victory at Bluenergy Stadium sees the team continue their recovery from a disappointing start to the Serie A season that included an opening day defeat to Cremonese. They currently sit second on the Serie A table, one point behind league leaders Juventus, who drew earlier Saturday against Verona.  Max Allegri's side faces a challenging upcoming schedule with fixtures against Napoli and Juventus in the next two weeks in Serie A action.
