Littler has been back in Manchester this week, with an invitation accepted to visit United’s training ground. While at Carrington, he stepped up to the oche against Maguire and Eriksen – giving them nine darts each with which to post a score. Maguire fared admirably, as he hit a treble 20 en route to 171, while Danish playmaker Eriksen managed 136.
