A consortium of Spanish and Brazilian investors, including Real Madrid star Vinicius, has completed the takeover of Liga Portugal 2 side Alverca as former owner Ricardo Vicintin sold his stake. Per Record, the new owners will be unveiled in the next few weeks and current club CEO Matheus Ornelas will manage the club until the end of the 2024-25 campaign.

WHAT HAS BEEN SAID
The official statement from the Portuguese club read: "FC Alverca – Futebol, SAD hereby announces that Eng. Ricardo Vicintin has sold his qualified stake in the public limited company to a group of Spanish and Brazilian investors."
The 24-year-old will be back in action for Los Blancos on Wednesday as they face Manchester City in the second leg of their Champions League knockout play-offs.
