    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Bayern went trophyless last season as Bayer Leverkusen stormed to the Bundesliga title. Under Kompany, though, they will aim to reclaim the trophy that they had made their own over the last decade.

  • WHAT KOMPANY SAID

Asked about Muller and Neuer, Kompany replied: "I have very clear ideas about what I want to achieve. It's also exciting for players like Manuel and Thomas. It's much easier to work with players like that. They have become legends because they always want to get better."
