The Sky Blues headed to Wembley as massive underdogs, and appeared to have let the occasion get the better of them when falling three goals down inside an hour. Scott McTominay, Harry Maguire and Bruno Fernandes were all on target for the Red Devils.

Wright’s effort took an epic encounter at the home of English football into extra-time, with Mark Robins’ side showing the kind of fighting spirit that should serve them well heading forward – with a play-off berth in the Championship still just about up for grabs.
