The Rossoneri faced La Liga giants Real Madrid at Soldier Field – the home of the Chicago Bears NFL franchise. Famous faces have been flocking to Milan fixtures in the United States, with pop icon Rihanna already rubbing shoulders with Pulisic and his fellow U.S. international Yunus Musah.

Milan claimed a 1-0 victory over Real, giving the locals plenty to cheer as home-grown heroes Pulisic and Musah stepped off the bench again. After the action had finished, Pulisic was able to mingle with household names from a different sport.

Chicago native Dosunmu, who plies his trade in basketball circles for the Bulls, swapped shirts with Pulisic – with both adding a signature to their gift. Milan advisor Ibrahimovic also traded jerseys with the 24-year-old shooting guard.

Milan’s travelling circus now rolls on to Baltimore, where Barcelona will be faced on Tuesday. Pulisic will want to see more minutes there, with the countdown on to a 2024-25 Serie A opener at home to Torino on August 17.
