Odegaard and Norway had a productive time during the international break, most recently sweeping Israel aside in a 4-2 win. The Arsenal star stood out for the Scandanavian side, grabbing three assists and helping seal his side's perfect start to their 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign.

Norway boss Stale Solbakken was so delighted with the efforts of his playmaker that he attempted to jokingly wrestle him to the ground when taking him off for a rest in the second half, a move that thankfully brought a smile to the face of Odegaard.

With a perfect start in the qualifiers ticked off alongside Erling Haaland, Odegaard can return to Arsenal and fully focus on the task at hand. The Gunners are still in the running for the Champions League and have faint hope of securing the Premier League title, having fallen 12 points behind leaders Liverpool.
