The deadlock was finally broken in the 59th minute when Lingard burst down the right flank, shaking off his marker before drilling in a clever low cross. Teammate Marko Duganddzic muscled past his defender and slotted home, sending the travelling Seoul fans wild. But the roar of the crowd wasn’t just for the goal; it was Lingard’s celebratory dance that stole the spotlight. With a beaming smile, the 32-year-old busted out his signature moves, a sight that instantly went viral across social media. 

While the dance moves get the cameras flashing, it’s Lingard’s football that is doing the talking. July was nothing short of spectacular for the ex-England star. Two goals in four matches, two Man of the Match awards, and a coveted Player of the Week gong, Lingard’s name was suddenly everywhere. His blistering form was capped off with the ultimate accolade: Player of the Month, his first such award in Seoul colours.  

The schedule doesn’t get any lighter for Lingard and his teammates. With the Asian Champions League group stage now underway, the focus quickly swings back to domestic duties. Next Sunday, Lingard will once again pull on the red and black of FC Seoul as they return to K League action against Gwangju.
