Littler, who is a cult icon in the UK ever since his scintillating run to the PDC World Darts Championship final earlier this year, is also a renowned United fan. The 17-year-old has met with a number of Red Devils stars and has even been invited to Old Trafford. In a recent video with Sky Sports, Littler was asked to select his best-ever United player, having to choose between Ronaldo, Rooney and many other legends.

At 17 years old Littler wasn't around to see many of the legends he was asked to rank, but his choice of Ronaldo was a convincing one. It also echoes the thoughts of newly appointed minority investor Sir Jim Ratcliffe, who chose the Portuguese as the best United player of all time, ahead of even the late great Sir Bobby Charlton.

Ronaldo clearly remains fondly remembered in Manchester despite the tumultuous end to his second stint at the club. He has been plying his trade with Saudi Pro League side Al-Nassr since December 2022 and has since settled in nicely on and off the pitch, with both a stellar goal return and impressive business ventures to his name in the Middle East.
