Law is also said to have joined Alexander-Arnold and his family on a summer vacation, as their blossoming relationship grew, but they have now decided to go their separate ways as busy workloads make it difficult for them to spend quality time together.

    WHAT A SOURCE SAID

A source has told The Sun: “Trent and Iris had a really fun summer together and it was going great. But life is about to get really busy for them both, with Trent’s schedule packed with first-team football and Iris having jobs all over the world. They went on holiday with his family in July and they got on so well. So even though they are not dating any more, Iris and Trent will definitely stay friends.

“She was really into him and loved spending time together. But Iris is a career woman and she is focused on her own success. And being a WAG was never really going to be her bag, especially as Trent lives up north and she’s based in London. They’ve cooled things off now and are just going to stay mates. There is no bad blood between them and Iris only has good things to say about Trent.”

  • WHAT NEXT?

Alexander-Arnold and Law connected over Instagram and quickly struck up a close bond. The Liverpool full-back is, however, now free to focus on his professional career – with a big decision needing to be made on his future as his contract at Anfield runs down and he is linked with a move to Real Madrid as a free agent in 2025.
