Training ground bust-up?! Mohamed Salah squares up to Trent Alexander-Arnold in Liverpool training ahead of Champions League tie with PSG

Footage shows Salah shoving Alexander-Arnold in the chest and the pair exchanging words, before their team-mates intervened on Monday. But the fact that they carried on and there was no apparent bust-up may suggest this is just a healthy bit of sparring ahead of a crucial Champions League tie with PSG.

Salah and Alexander-Arnold are likely to start in their Champions League last-16 second-leg tie on Tuesday, with Liverpool holding a 1-0 first-leg lead over Luis Enrique's side. The duo are both out of contract this summer so if they fail to progress, this could be the last time they play in the competition for the Reds.

Salah has played more games against PSG without scoring than against any other Champions League opponent (three). But the French side have lost on their two previous visits to Anfield.

After this PSG encounter, Liverpool face Newcastle United in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday.
