In the Gran Final between Tigres and Club America, the Argentine was sent off in the 95th minute of the match, but opted not to head to the tunnel to end his day. Instead, he hilariously pulled a maneuver to somehow end up hiding behind the net, underneath a tarp, with the TUDN cameras catching him watching the end of the contest.

Over the two legs of the Gran Final, America took all the glory 4-1 on aggregate, but it wasn't until Guzman's sending off that the goals arrived. The 2023 champions scored twice after the Argentine's red card, making the score look awfully different in full-time than the reality of it all. Guzman's hilarious antics weren't the first time he has made headlines for shenanigans in 2023, however, with the Argentine performing 'magic tricks' in goal against the Vancouver Whitecaps in the Leagues Cup.

America officially claimed the Clasura title Sunday evening, and now, it's the offseason for the Mexican league. They'll return to action in 2024, with a schedule announcement to be decided.
