Tuchel, who spent 18 months living in London while managing Chelsea, will once again reside in England but plans to regularly visit his family in Munich, where his two daughters live. Drawing on the arrangements made for England Women’s team manager Sarina Wiegman, who splits her time between the UK and her native Netherlands, Tuchel has secured a similar agreement, allowing him to balance his personal and professional commitments.
"I love to live in England and I’m looking forward to living again in England," he told reporters after his appointment. "I want to be close to the Premier League, I want to be close to the majority of the players. But of course, the schedule will allow me to be close to my family and my children in Germany. I will be in England most of the time."
