'Hope you took your Clubcard' - Chelsea star Axel Disasi ridiculed on social media for posting pensive outfit photos from a Tesco store

The French centre-back took to Instagram to share images of himself at the supermarket and took inspiration from Denzel Washington's character in The Equaliser, adding a quote from the film in the caption which read: "When you pray for rain, you gotta deal with the mud too."

Many of the 25-year-old's followers on Instagram made fun of him in the comments. Tesco's official account commented: "Cleaning up in the snack aisle. Good luck for the game tomorrow, Axel."

"Hope you took your clubcard," read one fan's comments, and another added: "My man’s in Tesco gettin' pics for the gram."

Disasi will likely be involved when Chelsea take on Premier League leaders Liverpool on Wednesday. The Blues are 10th in the table 31 points while their Merseyside counterparts are top of the division with 48.
