  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    Houghton has taken on the roles of club ambassador and project officer at City, the club where she spent over 10 years playing. A former City captain, Houghton will now represent the club at various events and matches around the world. The former Lioness will also work with different footballing departments at the City Football Academy.

    THE BIGGER PICTURE

    The 36-year-old became a club legend after winning eight major trophies with City, including the Women's Super League title in 2016. In another historic achievement, she becomes City's first-ever female representative.
