Sergio Busquets floored by HORROR tackle that forces Inter Miami star out of Vissel Kobe game - with offender Yuya Okaka incredibly not even shown a yellow card

Busquets had to go off midway through the first half of Inter Miami's friendly against Vissel Kobe in Japan on Wednesday. The midfielder was caught on the ankle by Okaka with a reckless challenge that left Busquets in obvious pain. Busquets received treatment on the pitch but could not continue and had to be replaced by Yannick Bright. Okaka, meanwhile, did not even receive a yellow card for the dangerous high tackle.

Busquets was able to walk off the pitch but looked clearly frustrated as he trudged straight down the tunnel. Inter Miami will be hoping it's not a serious injury, particularly with the start of the MLS season just weeks away. Tata Martino's side are already having to cope without Lionel Messi due to an injury issue. The superstar missed their last friendly against a Hong Kong XI and was only named on the bench against Vissel Kobe, although he did appear in the second half for the final 30 minutes.

The team face an anxious wait to see how serious the injury to Busquets is and if he faces a spell on the sidelines. Inter Miami's first game of the new MLS season is scheduled for February 21 against Real Salt Lake at DRV PNK Stadium.
