Rob McElhenney fires 'absolute banger' message to Tom Brady ahead of table-topping Wrexham's clash with Birmingham City

Wrexham, who climbed to the top of League One after a convincing 3-0 win over Shrewsbury on Saturday, will next lock horns against Tom Brady-owned Birmingham City in the league. Ahead of the much-anticipated clash, the Red Dragons co-owner and Hollywood star Rob McElhenney fired a message on social media towards Brady.

After Wrexham's incredible win on Saturday, McElhenney took to X to share a message for Brady where he wrote, "See you next Monday @TomBrady. Should be an absolute banger."

Former NFL star Brady, who joined the Blues' ownership consortium, saw his team getting relegated from the Championship. In the 2024/25 campaign, however, they are off to a flying start winning three out of their first four League One clashes.

Before facing Birmingham City on September 16, Phil Parkinson's side are all set to meet Salford City on September 10 in a Football League Trophy group stage clash.
