'We're having a blast' - In-form PSG star Ousmane Dembele fires warning to Liverpool ahead of Champions League last-16 tie

Dembele is having a stellar season in the 2024-25 campaign and is leading the Ligue 1 Golden Boot race. The French winger scored his 18th league goal on Sunday as PSG outclassed Lille 4-1. After yet another stunning performance, the French giants are now gearing up for their Champions League round of 16 clash against Liverpool and ahead of Wednesday's first leg fixture, Dembele fired a warning towards the Reds.

Speaking to DAZN after the Lille clash, Dembele said: "We played a very good game today. We are preparing well for what is to come (Liverpool). Since the beginning of the season, (Luis Enrique) has been telling us to play good football. Everyone is participating, whether it's the midfielders, defenders or attackers. Everyone wants to be decisive. We are in a very good dynamic, we will try to keep it as long as possible. We are having a blast! Everyone attacks, everyone defends. We are a very united team, that gives results like that. It's just fun for 90-95 minutes."

He added: "We know it's going to be a tough match. It's the Champions League. Liverpool finished first, they're also confident. It's going to be a great show."

Arne Slot's men will be heading to Paris on the back of a comfortable 2-0 win over Newcastle United last week in the Premier League. With the victory over the Magpies, they are now 13 points above second-placed Arsenal and are the favourites to bag the league title.

After facing the Merseyside club at home in the midweek, Luis Enrique's side will be back in action in Ligue 1 on Saturday as they take on Rennes.
