'Not in my lifetime!' - Pep Guardiola teases Liverpool over Man City's 100-point title with claim their 'centurions' will never be matched

Ahead of City hosting Premier League leaders Liverpool on Sunday, manager Guardiola said his side's recent achievements will stand the test of time in an apparent dig at Arne Slot's team.

Speaking with former manager Neil Warnock, he told Sky Sports: "No one is going to win [with] 100 points, and four-in-a-row in the Premier League. It’s not going to happen in my lifetime, I'm sorry!"

History-makers City have dominated the Premier League over the past four years and their 100-point tally from 2017-18 is yet to be matched in the division. Their dominance has been remarkable and while Liverpool are primed to end their winning run, it seems they won't be breaking any City records along the way.

Fourth-placed City can keep this Premier League title race alive if they beat Liverpool at the Etihad on Sunday, but a win for the Reds will put them 11 points clear of second-placed Arsenal.
