    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Lalas, who represented the USMNT between 1991 to 1998, claimed that he is intrigued to find out how the former Barcelona boss will fare in the US. He also shared a tip for the experienced manager on how to achieve success in the MLS if and when he joins a club.

  • WHAT ALEXI LALAS SAID

Responding to a question on X, Lalas wrote: "Pep could certainly handle it. He's smart and I think he'd rise to the challenge. But he'd have to adjust and in some ways even betray his ethos. It would be fun to see Pep in a situation where he didn't have the advantage of the best players and had to simply 'coach 'em up'."
