The six-time Premier League-winning manager will not be leaving just yet, though, as Football Insider reports that he has agreed to sign a one-year extension that will keep him tied to the club until the end of the 2025-26 campaign. An official announcement is expected soon, the report says, with the '99%' of the deal agreed.

Guardiola's City are on a troublesome run of form, having lost four matches in a row for the first time under the 53-year-old, seeing them fall five points behind leaders Liverpool after 11 matches.

While City prepare to announce Guardiola's new deal, the manager will continue preparations for next week's Premier League clash with Tottenham, followed by a Champions League clash against Feyenoord on November 26.
