Pedri admits Real Madrid and Atletico are La Liga title favourites as Barcelona 'will have to win all remaining games' to finish top of table following Getafe draw

Barcelona's winless run in La Liga continued on Saturday as they dropped crucial two points against Getafe, despite taking an early lead through Jules Kounde's strike. The Catalan giants have now failed to register a league win in their last four outings and are third on the table, five points behind leaders Atletico and four behind rivals Los Blancos, who have a game in hand.

After the frustrating result at Estadio Coliseum, Barca's star midfielder Pedri practically ruled themselves out of the title race as he admitted the two Madrid clubs, now at the top of the table, are favourites to win La Liga.

Speaking to reporters after the Getafe clash, Pedri said: "We probably have to be perfect and win all the remaining games to be able to recover in La Liga. It’s always difficult to play against Getafe. They defend with a low block. It’s complicated. But, we should have defended our lead better."

The Catalan side will be back in action in the Champions League in midweek as they take on Benfica in a difficult away fixture on Tuesday.
