  • WHAT MACAULAY LANGSTAFF SAID

Speaking to the media, Langstaff said, "Just what any fan reads on social media. When I see these articles and quotes, I just read them like a fan really, so I try to focus on my football, I know it's a cliche. It's pointless, I've signed a long contract with Notts County. I'm really happy at this club. They've given me a platform over the past 18 months to do what I'm doing, and I'm repaying that now on the pitch."

The 27-year-old striker's name came up during a discussion in the Welcome to Wrexham documentary last year where the Red Dragons' Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney jokingly asked the player to f*ck off. He was an integral part of the County side that fought fiercely against Wrexham and eventually secured promotion to League Two after finishing second in the National League.
