The FIFA Council recently approved a proposal for an 'exceptional; transfer window from June 1 to June 10, just ahead of the usual summer window opening on June 12. This adjustment, designed to address registration discrepancies among participating teams in the FIFA Club World Cup, could pave the way for Al-Hilal to secure Salah’s signature.

As four-time Asian champions and Saudi Arabia’s only representative in the FIFA Club World Cup, Al-Hilal are determined to field a competitive squad. They have been drawn into the same group as European champions Real Madrid, further heightening the stakes. The club already boasts a roster featuring former Premier League players, including Aleksandar Mitrovic, Ruben Neves, and Joao Cancelo.
