United in love! Matthijs de Ligt and wife Annekee Molenaar can't take their hands off each other at Old Trafford as model shares romantic photos from £43m star's Man Utd signing

United secured the signings of De Ligt and Mazraoui from Bayern Munich earlier this week. The two defenders have arrived for a combined fee of €70m (£60m/$77m) and the centre-back looks incredibly loved up in photos of his unveiling, which have been shared by Molenaar.

Molenaar wrote on Instagram: "Manchester touch down. Thanks to each and everyone who has made us feel so loved and welcome."

She posted a collage of pics and videos in which her and De Ligt can barely keep their hands off each other.

While De Ligt has already been touted as a potential future United captain due to his perfect English, two club legends have already expressed their doubts over the signing. Both Paul Scholes and Rio Ferdinand have aired concerns about the 25-year-old.

United beat Fulham on Friday and De Ligt came off the bench during the game. He will hope to make his full debut against Brighton next weekend.
