According to the The Athletic, the 22-year-old is expected to leave United permanently this summer after a season-long loan at Getafe. The Madrid outfit want to bring him back on loan next season but the Red Devils would reportedly prefer a permanent deal. Now, Napoli are keeping tabs on the forward, especially with star striker Victor Osimhen expected to leave in the coming months.
After joining Getafe on loan in September 2023, Greenwood has played 34 times for the Spanish side. He has scored 10 goals and bagged six assists in all competitions. Incidentally, United have not ruled out the possibility of their academy product going out on loan again.
