Marc Cucurella's favourite Disney film! Chelsea star reveals classic tale he watches TWICE a day alongside girlfriend Claudia Rodriguez and their three children

Euro 2024 winner Cucurella shares three children with partner Rodriguez, who he has been with since 2018 and his days on the books at Barcelona. They moved to England together in 2021 when the Spain international defender linked up with Brighton.

A happy family unit has been maintained since completing a £62 million ($78m) transfer to Stamford Bridge in 2022. Cucurella is aware that keeping his children amused will help to make life easier for him and Rodriguez, even if they can have some bizarre requests.

The 26-year-old has revealed that he is forced to watch the 1994 Disney classic ‘The Lion King’ on loop. He has grown accustomed to that, becoming a big fan of the production himself. Cucurella has told TNT Sports: “(My favourite film?) The Lion King. I watch it maybe twice each day, so I want to choose this one.”

Settling down in front of the television is a useful way for Cucurella to relax and unwind amid the pressure of his day job. He is closing in on 100 appearances for Chelsea, having rebuilt his reputation in the eyes of a once unconvinced fan base in west London.
