Cameroon international goalkeeper Onana will spend the remainder of the 2025-26 campaign in Turkey with Trabzonspor. That deal includes no loan fee or purchase option, but 100 per cent of Onana’s wages will be covered by his new club.
According to the Manchester Evening News, United players were eager to see Onana leave once that deal was done as having four senior goalkeepers on the club’s books would have presented a "problem".
