    WHAT NAGELSMANN SAID

When Nagelsmann was asked about his future club, he told reporters: “There is a high probability that I will sign before the European Championships if I have an offer that I am satisfied with. But right now I don’t have a piece of paper. It’s normal to want to sort out your future.”

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Should Erik ten Hag depart United at the end of the season amid inceasing pressure, Sir Jim Ratcliffe has reportedly made Nagelsmann a "priority target" to replace the Dutch tactician. Liverpool, on the other hand, have identified him as a potential contender alongside Ruben Amorim to succeed Jurgen Klopp at Anfield - provided Xabi Alonso knocks down their offer and chooses to sign with Bayern Munich or stay at Bayer Leverkusen.
