However, United won’t be alone in their pursuit, with Bayern Munich also keeping tabs on Kean’s progress.

The Red Devils’ summer transfer blueprint could shift dramatically depending on the outcome of their current Europa League campaign. Currently leading in the semi-final against Athletic Club, United must see off the Spanish side in the return leg and win the potential final against either Tottenham Hotspur or Bodo/Glimt to secure Champions League football for next season.
