WATCH: Man City fans targeted by hooligans with 'wooden sticks' in brutal attack before Champions League clash against Crvena Zvezda

Crvena Zvezda are preparing to host Manchester City in Belgrade on Wednesday and telegraf has reported that hooligans attacked City fans on Tuesday evening, using 'wooden sticks'. A group of around 30 fans are reported to have been involved, with 20 City fans the victims.

The report states that police are now working on identifying the attackers involved. Telegraf claim that they have learned that the hooligans involved identify themselves as Crvena Zvezda fans.

The club will be focused on the game itself, and fans will hope that the match is played without any crowd trouble. City have already won Group G, so are likely to rotate their XI.
