    THE BIGGER PICTURE

After inquiry, the Limburg public prosecutor's office informed that the robbery happened between 4 pm to 9 pm local time on December 16. The perpetrators completely ransacked the house and left things upside down. The robbery was discovered by De Bruyne's wife Michele Lacroix.

  • WHAT WAS SAID

The official investigation report from the prosecutor's office read, "Everything was turned upside down, so it is not yet entirely clear what the exact disadvantage is. But at first glance, it appears that mainly jewelry has been stolen.

"The investigation into what exactly happened is still ongoing. The forensic laboratory has already arrived on site for a trace investigation and a camera and neighborhood investigation will follow. It is therefore not yet clear who the perpetrators are."
