    The Cityzens capped off a stellar year with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Sheffield United in the Premier League on Saturday at Etihad Stadium. With the win over The Blades, the English champions went unbeaten at home throughout 2023.

    The year 2023 was a memorable one for the club as they became the first English side to win five trophies in a calendar year and only the second English team after Manchester United to win the treble. Other than lifting the FA Cup, the Premier League trophy and the Champions League title last season, in the ongoing campaign they won the European Super Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup.
