    THE BIGGER PICTURE

Those close to Kerkez are said to believe that he will eventually move to Anfield but the deal is now dragging on. Kerkez's valuation, and Bournemouth's insistence on sticking to it, is partly driven by the fact that they have sold Dean Huijsen to Real Madrid, receiving a fee of £50m ($66m) in the process.

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Kerkez moved to Bournemouth for an undisclosed fee in July of 2023 from AZ Alkmaar, but reports suggest he cost around £18m ($24m), so Bournemouth are poised to make a profit on the Hungary international.
