  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Liverpool comfortably thrashed their arch-rivals Manchester United 3-0 on Sunday courtesy of a brace from Luis Diaz and a goal from Mohamed Salah. Diaz handed the Reds a two-goal lead in the first half while Salah increased their tally shortly after the second half commenced. Szoboszlai had a golden chance to score the fourth goal when he was presented with an open goal - however, he decided to take a couple of touches which allowed the United defenders to close in on him inside the penalty area, resulting in a wasted opportunity.
