Lionel Messi bagged his 11th goal of the MLS season Wednesday evening, firing home a low-driven effort in a loss to Atlanta United.

    The Argentine cut in on his left foot, took one touch and let go a belter of a low-driven effort, finding the bottom corner of the net. It was his 11th goal of the MLS season.

    The Argentine's goal brought them back into the match in the second half, making it 2-1 in the 62nd minute. They had conceded two prior, with both goals being shots from outside the box by Georgia international Saba Lobzhanidze.

    The Herons couldn't fight back, though, as Jamal Thiare scored to make it 3-1, leading Atlanta to victory.
