Williamson trained alone
Suffered a 'medical situation' in Conti Cup final
England set to play Euro 2025 qualifying matches in April
WHAT HAPPENED?
The Lionesses skipper trained alone at St. George's Park on Tuesday as the national team started preparing for their upcoming Euro 2025 qualifying games. Williamson is following an individualised programme as she looks to return to the national for the first time since April 2023. The 27-year-old had suffered an ACL injury last year which ended her dream to take part in the 2023 Women's World Cup.
The Gunners star has been named in Sarina Wiegman's side in their last two squad but she withdrew her name from the team that played during the February international break citing a hamstring injury.
