  • WHAT HAPPENED?

Speaking on the Yours Sincerely Pod with Lisa Andrews, Goodman, 33, discussed receiving legal warnings from Walker and Kilner, including accusations of harassment and requests for her to sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA). WHAT GOODMAN SAID

“I've been kind of threatened in a different way. I know that in 2021 and again in 2022, I received legal letters alleging harassment,” she said, acknowledging that the letters arrived as private communications.

"They came not for publication obviously because they probably wouldn't want anyone to know. But my letters back were for publication. As in 'I don't mind I'm just gonna put it out there.' And basically I said that they had no claims, they had no harassment claims, and then I'm literally seeing in the paper again 'oh we're monitoring everything she is doing through our lawyers' and you know 'we're gonna have a public..' it said something about 'we're gonna make her publically embarrassed,' or something along those lines and 'we're gonna do her for harassment civilly'."

  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Goodman outright dismissed the harassment allegations, asserting that no formal charges were ever brought against her.

"Harassment is a criminal conviction so if I had done harassment I would have been arrested. And I've never been arrested for harassment," she said.

Refusing to be silenced, Goodman explained that Walker had wanted her to sign an NDA, a request she ultimately declined.

She added: "So, I don't harass. I stick up for me and my children, there is a massive difference. I won't be threatened and told to be quiet. Obviously, Kyle would have liked me to sign an NDA. You know... and I didn't."

  • DID YOU KNOW?

Throughout her interview, Goodman voiced encouragement for others facing similar pressures, advising them not to feel intimidated into silence. “For those in situations like mine, you don’t need to be silenced,” she shared. "You don't need to sign NDA's you don't need to feel like you're doing anything wrong. You can live your life freely."

    WHAT NEXT?

Walker's marriage with Kilner seems to have reached a point of no return as divorce proceedings have already been initiated. The defender is also struggling to find his best form on the pitch and has been limited to just eight appearances this campaign - including just four Premier League starts.
