Kevin De Bruyne to Napoli is ON! Man City star in talks with Serie A champions after buying a house in Naples as midfielder weighs up move to Italy

La Gazetta dello Sport states that De Bruyne's agents will meet with Napoli representatives on Wednesday over the possibility of signing a two-year deal, with the option of a third year, and a €10 million (£8.4m) signing bonus.

De Bruyne will, arguably, go down as City's greatest player but that was not enough for him to be offered a new contract. The 33-year-old played his last game for the Manchester outfit on Sunday, and now speculation is rife he will join newly-crowned Serie A champions Napoli shortly after becoming a free agent. And according to Napoli chairman Aurelio De Laurentiis, the Belgian international has bought a house in Naples and a move is very much on the cards.

He told RAI: "Could De Bruyne be nearby to celebrate Napoli's title? Probably yes. He bought a beautiful house here in the city, I had a call with him, his wife, and his nine-year-old son this morning, it was a beautiful sight. There is nothing signed yet."

It may just be a matter of time before the attacking midfielder departs City and joins Napoli ahead of next season.
