Kevin De Bruyne to leave Man City? Pep Guardiola offers update on midfielder's future amid MLS and Saudi Pro League transfer links

De Bruyne, whose current contract with the Cityzens expires in 2025, has attracted interest from Saudi Pro League and Major League Soccer clubs. The 32-year-old is yet to negotiate a new deal with the Premier League club and could consider making a move away from the team in the summer.

Now, manager Guardiola has opened up about the Belgian's situation admitting that while he would love to see the player end his career at Etihad Stadium, the final decision lies with him.

Speaking to reporters, the Catalan manager said: "It's a question for him, I'd love him to stay but I don't know. I heard some links but I don't know if there's an offer, I don't know if Saudi Arabia wants him. I would love him to stay until the end of his career, but everyone is everyone."

Multiple reports suggest that the Saudi Pro League are preparing a lucrative offer for the Man City star that could lure the player to the Middle East next season. The Athletic, on the other hand, reports that the former Chelsea player could follow Lionel Messi's path to MLS and pursue a similar contract to that of the Argentine at Inter Miami, where he will earn nearly $150m over two years.

City's star midfielder will be next seen in action for his club on Tuesday as they take on Luton Town in a fifth-round FA Cup clash at Kenilworth Road.
