Revealed: Jamal Musiala's massive release clause as Bayern Munich star pockets €26m salary with new contract extension

  • WHAT HAPPENED?

    On Friday, Bayern Munich announced that their star player Jamal Musiala has signed a new five-deal and will remain at Allianz Arena until 2030. Musiala was linked with a move to English giants Manchester City as he was nearing the end of his previous deal, however, the German international has now committed his future to the Bavarian side for the next five years.

    Per Sky Sports Germany, Bayern have included an eye-watering €175million (£145.5m/$180m) release clause which will be active between the summer of 2025 and 2029. In the final year of his contract, the amount will reduce to €100m (£83m/$103.5m). The report also adds that Musiala is all set to pocked a salary between €25m to €26m per season.
