'Isak is a rat' T-shirts sold outside St James' Park before Newcastle's huge clash with Liverpool as Magpies fans make feelings known over wantaway striker

Just outside St James' Park, where Newcastle are set to host reigning champions Liverpool in an important Premier League clash on Monday, some T-shirts were spotted at a store with the words, "Isak is a rat" written on them.

Last week, Isak went public with his frustration at Newcastle as he shared an explosive statement on social media where he stated that his relationship with the club is over and even accused them of breaking promises. And now it seems that Isak's rant on a public forum was the last straw as the Magpies fans made their feelings clear towards the star forward. 

After his outburst on social media, Isak returned to Newcastle headquarters and trained. The striker reportedly had a one-on-one session with an academy coach at the Magpies' Little Benton base last Wednesday.

After a goalless draw in their season opener against Aston Villa, Eddie Howe will hope his side put up a strong fight against the English champions and try to pick up a win at home.
