Another Harry Kane reunion?! Kieran Trippier 'agrees' shock Bayern Munich move but Newcastle reject first bid for ex-Spurs star

According to journalist Kerry Hau, the England international is ready to make a move out of Newcastle United to join Bayern Munich in the ongoing January transfer window. The player has agreed to the move, although Craig Hope reports that the Magpies have rejected the German giants' first bid for the former Tottenham star.

The Bavarian club remain interested in signing Paris Saint-Germain's Nordi Mukiele but they have identified the England international as an alternative in case they miss out on the 26-year-old French defender. A deal for Trippier may be cheaper to finance.

Trippier's link to Bayern Munich will surely encourage Harry Kane, who recently reunited with former Tottenham and England colleague Eric Dier, who joined the German champions on a free transfer earlier this month. All three players played together under Mauricio Pochettino at Spurs.

For now, the experienced full-back will remain focused on his current club who will be next seen in action in the FA Cup fourth round on January 27 against Fulham. It remains to be seen if he will still be on their books for that fixture.
