German media rank players on a scale of 1-6, with one being the best and six being the worst.
Sport gave him a rating of four and wrote: "A hapless performance from the Englishman, who never really got into the game. To make matters worse, he also picked up his fifth yellow card and will miss next week's 'championship' match against RB Leipzig."
Spox also gave him a 4, writing: "If one thing could be criticised for the three top-notch attacking players behind him this afternoon, it's that they didn't pass the ball often enough to Kane. He dropped deep as usual, but this time only managed one shot on goal."
Bild were in concurrence with Sport and Spox, handing Kane a 4 rating as well.
Eric Dier, meanwhile, came away with a much more generous set of ratings, after scoring the third goal.
Sport gave him 1.5 and wrote: "He organized the German record champions' defense and performed well. His save in the 57th minute likely prevented a draw. He scored shortly before the final whistle to make it 3-0."
And Spox, giving him a 2, wrote: "As usual, resolute and robust in central defense. Another more than solid performance from the Englishman, which he crowned with his own header to make it 3-0. Why Bayern didn't extend his contract long ago is rather difficult to understand."
Bild also gave him 2/6.
