    THE BIGGER PICTURE

The England captain passed up his team's best chance of the first half as he hit the crossbar. Celtic went on to take the lead and almost took the tie into extra-time, but Alphonso Davies' late equaliser ensured the German giants won 3-2 on aggregate.

  • WHAT KANE SAID

Kane missed his team's final training session before the match at the Allianz Arena and has suggested he could be out for his team's next game.

"We'll have a scan tonight and then we'll see. I'm not sure if I can play against Frankfurt on Sunday. Now we'll just have to keep our fingers crossed," Kane told reporters.

"Harry played with problems," sports director Max Eberl said. "Hopefully it will be enough until Sunday."
