At 17 years and eight months, Quenda became the youngest player ever in Sporting CP's history to feature in the Lisbon derby as he played 72 minutes in a 1-0 victory. The record was previously held by club legend Ronaldo, who appeared in the derby against Benfica in December 2002 at the age of 17 years and 10 months.

Quenda has been a revelation for the Portuguese giants in the 2024-25 campaign. The youngster rose to fame under former manager Ruben Amorim, who handed him his senior debut in the summer. His impressive performances in the Liga Portugal have reportedly attracted interest from Manchester United, with Amorim said to be eyeing a reunion with the winger at Old Trafford.
