The deal makes Wirtz the third highest paid player at Liverpool, but he still lags far behind numbers one and two. Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah's contracts were a constant story during the 2024/25 season, with both stars signing a new deal in the run-in of the Reds' title-winning campaign. Captain Van Dijk is reportedly earning £400,000 per week, while Salah is bringing home £380,000 per week.
