Cristiano Ronaldo could be on his way out of Al-Nassr this summer after failing to qualify for the AFC Champions League Elite.
A 1-1 draw at home to Al-Taawoun on Friday night has left Al-Nassr sitting fourth in the Saudi Pro League, seven points away from second-placed Al-Hilal, with the top two gaining spots in the AFC Champions League elite.

THE BIGGER PICTURE
The drop means Ronaldo will not play in Asia's elite competition - where he scored eight goals in 2024-25 - next term, and it may sway his decision on renewing his contract with the football icon set to become a free agent this summer.

Al-Nassr do still have the chance to qualify for the AFC Champions League two - equivalent to the Europa League - but Ronaldo and Co must finish third and rely on Al-Ittihad beating Al-Qadsiah in the King's Cup final later this month.

Ronaldo has failed to deliver a title in three seasons at Al-Nassr and may call it time on his venture outside of Europe. Reports have suggested the five-time Ballon d'Or winner could return home to Portugal and see out his career there.
