Ex-England & Chelsea defender Wayne Bridge bizarrely lined up to fight YouTube sensation KSI in boxing match

Bridge, who played for Premier League giants like Chelsea and Manchester City and also represented the England national team, is all set to compete with YouTube star KSI in a bizarre boxing match in Manchester on March 29, according to The Dail Mail.

Bridge, now 44, has competed in a boxing match in the past. Seven years ago, he fought against Made In Chelsea star Spencer Matthews and clinched the bout. London-born KSI, whose real name is Olajide Olatunji, has also stepped into a boxing ring in the past and has fought Logan Paul twice. The YouTube sensation recently released a rap album and also has business ventures in other countries.

Bridge had a 16-year-old long professional career where he also played for clubs like Fulham, West Ham, Sunderland and Brighton. He won the Premier League, the FA Cup and the Carabao Cup with the Blues and earned 36 international caps for the Three Lions.

The fight between Bridge and KSI is now subject to signing of the contracts following which a formal announcement will be made.
