The ex-Manchester City player walked straight to the bench without acknowledging his manager, his frustration clear for all to see.

Conte later explained the change was a tactical one, aimed at injecting fresh energy into Napoli’s attack. He added that he hoped De Bruyne’s anger was directed at the result, not the decision.
